Self Directed Image - Chameleon

This is one of my self directed images from my portfolio. I had a difficult time trying to get her to cooperate but in the end it all worked out.  Thanks to Rhonda Barkley for helping me out during the shoots, and Thank you Brittany for letting me use your chameleon, Rainbow!

Traditional Portrait

Here is the final edit for my traditional portrait for my final portfolio..
Thanks Jessica Russell for being an awesome model!

Creative Ad Assignment

Deciding on a concept for the creative ad assignment proved to be fairly difficult for me. Originally I planned on doing an ad for Royal Canin, then I thought maybe Fancy Feast. But I decided I wanted to do something a little more modern. I ended up with this..

Toronto Zoo

About two months ago I went to the Toronto Zoo.
This was my favorite image from that trip.

This is another image from that day.

Fashion Model Workshop

So this week in class we did an awesome workshop where we got to work with models for Angie's Models. Personally, I wouldn't say I have much experience with fashion, or really any at all, so it was fun to get some practice with it.

My group including; Becky Waterhouse, Brooke Nicole, and Matt Usherwood, got to work with a lovely model named Sarah Alexandra.

Here is my favorite image, before and after editing.

Thanks for being an awesome model Sarah!  She is extremely nice and very good at what she does!

Movie Poster in the Works

This is the beginning of my movie poster. It needs a lot of editing, but hopefully it will turn out how I expected. Some pieces still need to be shot and I will be photographing the exploded woods pieces in the studio tomorrow and the buildings as well.

Also, this is not the original color of the attempt at dying the suit. Just a heads up, if you attempt to dye synthetic fabric purple.. if will probably turn pink :)

Movie Poster Assignment

Now that fourth semester has started, we have been given our first assignment. We can recreate a pre-existing movie poster or design one ourselves.

I am really excited to shoot this assignment so I can start putting the pieces together in photoshop and start to recreate the poster I have chosen.

One of my favorite characters of all time is Batman, so naturally I chose a poster from the latest movie, The Dark Knight. Also, I wanted to chose something related to animals to fit my portfolio theme "Inspired by Animals".

Here is the poster I have chosen:

Prelim Portfolio Images

Below I have all of the images as I had presented them in my portfolio at the end of the third semester at Algonquin.  Some need to be re-edited for final, which you will see at the end of the school year !
